Summary, etc. | Abstract :

In computer science field, software testing is referred to as a critical process which is executed in order to assess and analyze the performance and risks present in the approach for developing software application(s). There is an emphasis on integrating existing approaches to carry out testing activities in an effective mode; the efficient strategy being explored recently is hybrid in nature. Basically, hybrid database approach comprises of traditional and modem techniques that are deployed in order to achieve testing outcomes. In the light of addressing these concepts, this research study aims to investigate the complexity and efficiency of hybrid database approach in software testing, as well as its scope in the IT industry. This research proposes an algorithm for hybrid software testing database approach which can be used to develop an efficient and effective testing methodology for software developers. Multiple queries were run to analyze the execution time first through traditional database testing approach then with hybrid database approach. According to the results, it can be concluded that the processing time of the queries have greatly reduced with the use of hybrid database approach as opposed to accessing the data directly. The findings of the research elaborated the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm that was used for testing a software application. It is recommended that the new technology is easier and simple to assess and analyze the vulnerabilities present in the developed software.
|
